The southern region of the country is home to a fascinating mining heritage. Nowadays, the former open-pit mines have partially returned to the wild, offering a landscape of rare beauty. It is here where you’ll find two routes specially designed for mountain bikers and nature lovers.
The Haard Black route, is the more challenging of the two routes. This route offers more frequent obstacles, rocky terrain, and steep descents. An excellent trail for anyone looking to test and improve their skills.
Please follow the designated signposts reading "Mountain Bike Tour" with the black color signage.
Attention: The "Haard - Red" trail is crossing your path on several occasions. Please keep in mind that their signs are differently color coded in red.
