Description
Ride through the northern section of the upcoming "Minett Cycle" on the PC9 route between Sanem and the Kockelscheuer campsite.
In the south of Luxembourg lies the Minett region, the land of the Red Earth (Terre rouge), named after the ore-bearing rock in the soil that also colors it red. A continuous, fully signposted cycling route will soon run through the entire region: the "Minett Cycle". After 2023, a total of 150 kilometers (divided into three loops) of cycling infrastructure will invite you to explore.
Until then, you can already cycle sections of the future "Minett Cycle" today and discover the unique Minett region in parts. On this section, the route runs between Sanem and Kockelscheuer near Luxembourg City, crossing the idyllic rural part of the Minett region; via Limpach, Reckange-sur-Mess and Leudelange, you can get a small taste of what awaits you in the future on the routes of the three loops of the "Minett Cycle" on the paved bike path of the "Piste Cyclable 9".
