"Séier bei de Béier" – Beer Walk with Twisted Cat

As part of the national campaign "Lëtzebuerg, dat ass Vakanz!", this exclusive experience invites participants to discover the world of beer and meet a regional producer in a unique way. The activity is offered on only four dates in August 2026 and combines physical activity, learning and enjoyment.

The guided walk of approximately 6 kilometres takes participants through the "Haard-Hesselsbierg-Staebierg" Nature Reserve near Dudelange and leads them to four interactive stations dedicated to beer culture. Along the way, participants will gain fascinating insights into the history of beer, from the earliest breweries to today's craft beer movement.

Further stations focus on the key ingredients used in brewing. Participants will have the opportunity to observe, touch and smell different varieties of malt and hops, helping them to better understand how these ingredients influence the flavour and character of a beer.

At another station, participants step into the role of a brewmaster and discover in a fun and interactive way how different brewing decisions influence the final product. Working together, the group develops its own exclusive beer on a theoretical basis. The participants' ideas and decisions are incorporated into the creation of a special recipe.As a lasting souvenir, each participant receives a personal token granting access to a future exclusive event, where the beer developed by the group will be tasted for the first time.

The experience concludes with an entertaining "True or False" quiz, exploring common beer myths and misconceptions. After the walk, participants enjoy an exclusive guided tour of the Twisted Cat brewery, where they gain insights into modern beer production, the technical equipment and the daily work of an independent Luxembourgish craft brewery. A guided beer tasting rounds off the experience.

This activity is intended for adults aged 18 and above. The beer tasting is included in the price. Participation is limited to a maximum of 20 people to ensure a personal, high-quality experience.
