Guided tour, Memorial walk, Esch-Alzette
This trail takes in various memorial sites in Esch that were erected to commemorate the victims of the Nazi regime, to recall the period of occupation and to celebrate the liberation. The route also provides an insight into the architecture of the town centre in the early 20th century.
To take part in the tour, please go to the Museum's reception desk 15 minutes before the tour and let the receptionist know you are coming. Afterwards, your guide will take you through the centre of Esch Sur Alzette to show you various places of remembrance and explain to you what life was like under the occupation. At the end of your tour, you will be free to visit the Museum. We advise you to adapt your clothing to the weather conditions (jacket, umbrella or bottle of water) and to bring comfortable shoes. The visit lasts an average of 1H45.
