Pendragon

For nearly 50 years, Pendragon have stood as one of the most enduring and influential bands in the “new wave” of Progressive Rock. Formed in 1978 in Stroud, Gloucestershire, the band have carved out a remarkable five-decade journey — writing, recording and touring albums that have become cornerstones of the modern prog movement. Their longevity, creativity and unwavering fanbase have earned them true heritage band status in the genre.

.

While many progressive acts slowed down or disappeared entirely, Pendragon continued to evolve. They remain one of the few prog bands who have consistently released new albums and toured worldwide, performing on major US and European festival stages year after year.

Their most recent album, “Love Over Fear”, stands among their most acclaimed work. Deeply inspired by frontman Nick Barrett’s life in Cornwall, the record reflects themes of landscape, memory, healing and introspection — and it received awards and glowing reviews across Europe and beyond. For fans of heartfelt, melodic, story-driven progressive rock, it’s become a modern classic.
