Empire of the Sun is one of Australia’s most visionary music projects, created by Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore. On stage, Steele carries the project’s kaleidoscopic world to audiences worldwide—renowned for his theatrical costumes, immersive visuals, and a catalog of festival-defining hits. With more than 5.5 million albums sold, 7.6 billion streams, eight ARIA Awards, and two APRA Awards, the band remains a global cultural force. In 2024, they returned with their fourth album Ask That God, featuring singles like “Changes,” “Music On The Radio,” and “Cherry Blossom.” The album launch coincided with a sold-out world tour, including headline shows in Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, Denver, Mexico City, and London, alongside European dates spanning from Slovakia to Bucharest to Instanbul, and major festival appearances at Rock en Seine, Zurich Open Air, Summer Well, Lollapalooza Brazil, Estéreo Picnic, Electric Avenue, and SimiFest.
