SYD MATTERS
+ BLUMI
Some first times stay with you forever. The first time we heard Syd Matters' captivating voice is one of them.
From End & Start Again, his debut single released in 2003, Jonathan Morali's warm, deeply expressive vocals and timeless melodies—seemingly from another era—revealed a truly singular artist. Four albums followed, bringing with them a string of unforgettable songs: Black & White Eyes, Obstacles, To All of You. and I Might Float, tracks that left a lasting mark on an entire generation.
On stage, Syd Matters became known for intense performances where Jonathan Morali and his band delivered shows that were both intimate and epic.
Jonathan Morali then stepped away from the spotlight, while remaining as prolific as ever. He composed for theatre, film and video games, collaborating with Éric Rochant, Rémi Chayé, Thoms Litli, and notably on the acclaimed Life Is Strange series, the worldwide hit that introduced his music to a whole new audience.
After far too long away, Syd Matters is finally back. Expect brand-new songs alongside the ones we know by heart and have never forgotten.
