Artificial intelligence demystified!

Artificial intelligence demystified!

  • Thursday, December 11, and Friday, December 12, 2025: Reserved for Luxembourg schools / Elementary C4 and High Schools, .n collaboration with the Scienteens Lab and the Ministry of Equality
  • Saturday, December 13: Open to the public (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.)

In recent years, increasingly powerful artificial intelligence algorithms have been developed. Their performance is remarkable, and they can do many things: write texts, create images, produce videos, songs, entire websites, detect objects and people almost instantly, and much more. But how do they do it? And what are their limitations? Are the results reliable?

During AI Days, the Luxembourg Science Center will be entirely dedicated to this revolutionary technology. In collaboration with the Scienteens Lab, Uni.lu, LIST and the Digital Learning Hub, we will break down AI algorithms to reveal what really goes on inside their “artificial brains.”

On the program:

TALK : Can AI pass the Sproochentest? (Cédric Lothritz, LIST)

  • ENG at 11 a.m. & LUX at 2 p.m.

TALK : Inside the Brain of ChatGPT (Christophe Stammet, Scienteenslab / Uni.lu)

  • DE at 12 p.m. & FR at 3 p.m.

WORKSHOP: Human vs AI (Bernard Mazouin, Dennis Fink, Luxembourg Science Center)

.

  • FR at 11 a.m., LU at 12:15 p.m., DE at 1:45 p.m., EN at 3 p.m., FR at 4:15 p.m.

.

WORKSHOP: Design of a Meaningful AI App (Koen Cloostermans, Digital Learning Hub)

  • FR at 2 p.m. & LU at 4 p.m.

WORKSHOP: Humans and AI: working together in a Security Operation Center (Despoina Giarimpampa, Uni.lu)

  • EN: continuously from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

INTERACTIVE STATIONS : We are also pleased to welcome three interactive stations from the Scienteens Lab dedicated to artificial intelligence in our exploration room. Here you will find an electronic brain that simulates how a computer can recognize a vertical line in an image, an activity that explains the calculations of such a system, and a quiz in which you have to distinguish between an original image and one generated by AI.

and many other surprises on the theme of artificial intelligence...
