A private garden designed for the view
Meet in the garden of Louise and François Gales to admire the many views it offers to your gaze, for your greatest delight.
What would a garden be without the “views” it offers to the sight of its visitors?
Discover a garden of around twenty ares, designed and developed with this purpose in mind.
.
From a pergola covered with magnificent white wisteria, honeysuckle and “Montana” clematis vines, you will be able to admire:
- a beautiful expanse of contoured lawn, surrounded by mature trees, including a huge weeping willow
- cascades of climbing roses “Wedding Day” and “Himalayan Musk”
- the surrounding countryside, and much more…
Further on, openings in a double row formed by Lawson cypresses and a hornbeam hedge offer “surprise” views.
.
In a setting independent from the garden, our barn houses tenants with exceptional visual abilities:
- kestrels endowed with “hawk-like vision”
- barn owls with night vision
- bats with “ultrasonic vision”!
An event organised by Louise and François Gales as part of the 2026 edition of Rendez-vous aux jardins.
