Viktoria is releasing their first album!
Come party at Viktoria's debut album release show on Saturday, July 12th at the MK Bar in Belval. The trio will be accompanied by the energetic Sempervirent as well as newcomers Waffle Killers to get you warm and ready for an evening of discovery.
Viktoria Album Description
"We’ve been working on this record for the past 2 years. But truthfully, the songs
started long before we ever hit “record.” They came from nights we barely got
.
through, from hangovers and heartbreaks, from watching people we love spiral, and
from trying to claw our way out of our own wreckage.
This is a punk album. But not the polished kind. It’s messy. It’s loud. It’s painfully
human. There’s folk punk in its bones and thrash metal in its blood. It’s the sound of
anxiety with no filter. It’s what happens when you scream into the void and it finally
screams back.
Every track came from a place that hurt. Depression, substance abuse, alcohol,
heartbreak, rage, numbness. It's all in there. Somehow, putting it into music made
things a little less heavy. And if it helps someone else get through this shitty life then
we'll consider ourselves content.
We’re not trying to romanticize the pain. But we are trying to be honest about it. This
album is what honesty sounded like to us when everything else stopped making
sense.
So here it is. Our hearts in your hands, starting July 12."
