Documentary:
Gaston, an ageing poet and filmmaker, lives a secluded life in his parents' house in a former mining area of Luxembourg. The area, barely two square kilometres in size, where industrial ruins meet wild nature and whose transformation he has documented poetically throughout his life, is the source of all his artistic inspiration. Despite his topographical work, Gaston's points of reference are slowly beginning to fade.
What will remain of his world?.
TERRE ROUGE – Topographie du poète won the Film Critics’ Award for ‘Best Documentary’ at the Max Ophüls Prize Film Festival in 2026
