Screening "The Circus"

The festival opens with "The Circus," a wonderful film that brings to life the art of the great Charlie Chaplin!
A poet of slapstick, the character of Charlot continues to inspire countless artists. In this film, he tests the comic potential of the circus world. The gags come fast, often acrobatic, and always finely crafted with the precision that only Chaplin was capable of.
