Konschthal Groovy Thursdays

In the framework of the exhibitions « TEKTONIK » by Titus Schade, « PHANTOM LIMBS » by Hisae Ikenaga and the two exhibitions presented by Elektron « FUTURE_FORECAST » by Ziyang Wu & Mark Ramos and « FRAMERATE: Pulse of the Earth » by ScanLAB Projects

Every Thursday evening (from 18.07 – 29.08.2024), take advantage of these long summer evenings to visit the Konschthal.

Discover the second edition of the Groovy Thursdays, that will take place every Thursday evening from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm during the summer. As an after-work or to kickstart your evening, this nocturnal event is an opportunity to stroll through our exhibitions and enjoy a dedicated cultural program: guided tours, project presentations, workshops mixing disciplines and genres are being served.

The Konschthal Groovy Thursdays are also the ideal place for a relaxing moment with snacks and drinks.

Last but not least, in collaboration with Radio 100komma7, Konschthal invites several Luxembourgish artists to curate and create a personal playlist for each evening. Come discover the surprising and eclectic sounds presented by these local artists.

Here, it's all about the art of relaxation.

The programme

5pm- 9pm: APERO WORKSHOP – A Not So Practical Cup - Absurd Ceramics with Atelier Bingo

Around the exhibition PHANTOM LIMBS by Hisae Ikenaga.

Playing with clay to invent your own cup: crooked, with a giant handle, hole at the bottom... Not so practical for drinking, so what? Experiment, imagine, test, and let yourself be carried away...

All the cups will then be listed in an exhibition catalog. Get your pencils ready, we need to be able to recognize it!

Age: for adults and teenagers (children accompanied by an adult are welcome)

6:30 pm – 7:15 pm: Regular tour around the exhibitions in English

During a 45-minute guided tour, the mediators present you the major artworks as well as the concept of the current exhibition.

7pm - 9pm: Playlist in collaboration with Radio 100komma7

Snacks and small bites on site. The bar is open throughout the evening.
