A Tribute to DIRE STRAITS

The focus is on the sound that went around the world, with a guitar that none of us will ever forget. Wolfgang Uhlich is regarded by many expert fans at home and abroad as the best Mark Knopfler guitar impersonator.

The band has firmly established itself in the German music scene with over 800 concerts and was honoured as the best of the 100 participating tribute bands at the nationwide tribute contest in Koblenz. Their enormous versatility creates a live programme for connoisseurs and new fans alike. The classics ‘Walk of Life‘, ‘Sultans of swing’ and ‘Brothers in Arms’ are an integral part of the detailed programme, which is 100% live!

Since 2004, the dIRE sTRATS have been the first port of call to experience the music of Dire Straits, who disbanded in 1992, live again!
