In 2027, MooF celebrates 35 years of rock made in Luxembourg!
Founded in 1992 by Alex Heyar, MooF has stood the test of time with remarkable stability. The band's original line-up has remained virtually unchanged since the beginning, with Paul. joining the group in 2010 as the only addition.
A pioneer of Luxembourgish-language hard rock, MooF initially experimented with English lyrics before switching to Luxembourgish in 1994. It proved to be a winning decision, helping shape the band's unique identity and giving birth to what they proudly call "MooFe Rock"—a powerful blend of rock and hard rock driven by thought-provoking lyrics tackling themes such as freedom, racism, violence, and addiction.
Over the years, MooF has become one of the leading names on the Luxembourg rock scene, performing at countless concerts and festivals across the country. The band's journey also inspired the creation of MooFest, a charity-driven festival that has grown into a landmark event.
To celebrate 35 years of music, MooF will take the stage alongside Max Feller, HEAR, Next Deed, Fallen Lies, and Heavy Petrol for an unforgettable evening filled with rock, energy, and great company.
