How does a rock band work? What are the roles of the different instruments? What are the ingredients for making a hit song?

Featuring live performances of rock and blues songs, this workshop will introduce children and their parents to the basic concepts behind this music with its catchy melodies.

Participants will have fun discovering how a rock or pop song is structured and will get the chance to contribute to the (re)composition of a song. They can try out different instruments—voice, guitar, keyboard, bass, and drums—during an interactive session led by passionate musicians!
