Nature reserve "Brill"
Description
Home to wild birds
The Luxembourg government has declared this spot a “special protection zone for wild birds”—and not for nothing! The Brill nature reserve is home to many rare bird species such as the white stork, the spotted sandpiper and the corncrake. Thanks to the renaturation of the Alzette, the reserve offers sublime views and a peek into this alluvial valley’s past. The expansive pastureland, home to robust breeds of cattle, adds a rural touch to this already idyllic postcard.
