The National Museum of Resistance and Human Rights, located on the Place de la Résistance in Esch-sur-Alzette, focuses on the history of the Second World War in Luxembourg.Attention: Temporarily closed. Reopening on 1 March 2024.

This life-size reconstruction takes you back to the days of the Second World War when a group of young Luxembourgers hid in a mine to escape the obligation to serve in the German army and wear the Nazi uniform.
